Course Details
3 WEEK CLASS - The signs are one thing. The skills behind them are another.
You've put in the work at the Novice level, and now you're ready to move up. But Advanced and Excellent courses ask a lot more from both you and your dog. Position changes, pivots, sidesteps, stands, jumps, circles... the list grows, and so does the precision needed to perform those skills confidently and cleanly.
This class is a good fit if you are:
- Freshly finished with Novice and ready to build toward Advanced and Excellent
- Competing at Advanced or Excellent but noticing gaps in specific skills
- Training in AKC or CKC, or working toward another venue entirely
- Ready to build the skills that make the signs feel easy
What we'll work on:
This class focuses on the individual skills behind the Advanced and Excellent signs rather than the signs themselves. Each week includes step-by-step lectures, video demonstrations, and training progressions designed to help you teach and strengthen these more advanced Rally skills in a clear and organized way.
- Pivots, sidesteps, and backing skills
- Fronts, finishes, and position changes
- Jumps, circles, and moving exercises
- Clear mechanics and cleaner execution
- Step-by-step progressions for building stronger Rally skills
Whether you’re preparing to move up, polishing weak areas, or simply looking for a better understanding of the individual pieces behind Advanced and Excellent work, this class will give you practical exercises and training plans you can apply immediately.
Gold students are welcome to bring skills from any Rally organization and will receive personalized feedback to support their specific goals.
