Course Details
Join me for a fun workshop focused on teaching and refining Rally and Obedience finishes. We’ll break down Swing (low left), Flip (high left), and Around (right) finishes, emphasizing speed, motivation and precision. In this workshop we will break each finish into small pieces that are highly reinforced. When put together, the dog is super confident and loves finishing. Eventually finishes become a well-rehearsed motor pattern. When your dog is highly motivated, distractions disappear and your dog maintains engagement around distractions. Whether you're introducing finishes or fine-tuning for the ring, you'll learn how to create energetic, engaged and accurate finishes.

Instructor: Petra FordPetra (she/her) graduated from Rutgers School of Health Related Professions 17 years ago with a degree in physical therapy and has experience working with an extremely varied caseload including pediatric through geriatric clients with a vast range of diagnoses.
