ODS06: 2pm - Looking under the fur: The biological reality of arousal in dogs

Course Details

Often we can identify arousal in our dogs from the outside, but what's happening internally? What is the biological of arousal, and how does it impact your dogs body?

This presentation will discuss the biology of arousal and the short term effects, as well as the long term implications of high states of arousal in a dogs body. We will examine the biology and science of arousal in dogs in detail.

Then we will discuss some ways that you can help your dog with the negative implications of high states of arousal in terms of their body.
