Why Fenzi Dog Sports Academy?

B3005: The Premack Principle - MOTHER MAY I?

Course Details

3 WEEK CLASS - Your dog already knows what he likes and wants.  But what if that is contrary to what you want from your dog?  Is your dog not food motivated in the real world? Or is food overwhelming and creates too much arousal?

In this class, you’ll learn how to turn those natural desires into powerful motivators for better behavior. Instead of fighting distractions, you’ll teach your dog how to earn their favorite activities by offering calmer, more cooperative choices first.

Your dog will discover that access to ‘the good’ stuff comes through you by performing achievable behaviors. You will learn how to identify your dog’s real reinforcers, which are often in the environment.

You will give how to teach them the foundation of ‘ask first’ as they learn that permission is power.  You will be able to turn distractions into training tools, and to help your dog make better choices anywhere!

Teaching Approach:

A new lecture will be released approximately every other day.  This is a new class so curriculum/syllabus is likely to be modified on the fly based on student need! Lectures will include video when appropriate. Most lectures build on the work from the previous lecture, although in the beginning there wil be some information gathering to allow me to make recommendations specific to your situation.
