Has your dog had faults for dislodging hides, pawing containers, or otherwise aggressive alerts? Do you want to retrain their alert behavior so that you can stop stressing and start enjoying the process? This workshop is for you!
The problem of box smashing and hide mouthing is complex and often highly reinforced, making it hard to figure out how to stop it! This workshop is focused on helping you diagnose your issue as well as walking through the steps of how you can retrain your dog’s alert behavior. We will look at different causes, and some easy fixes, and dive into the deep end to figure out how to retrain a really aggressive paw or mouthing alert.
With a little work, thoughtful training, and patience (retraining a behavior isn’t always easy!), my goal is that you can get to your next trial and call ALERT! with confidence and no stress!
