F3016: Come! It’s Not About the Cue!… Or Is It?

Course Details

3 WEEK CLASS - A fast, reliable recall is built on clarity of criteria, reinforcement, and how the dog feels about coming back. In this fun, game-based class, we’ll put special emphasis on visual cues and tactile responses that build speed, confidence and understanding, far more than a verbal cue alone.

Through tactile responses, strategic reward placement, and interactive games, you’ll learn how to:

  • Use tactile cues to create clarity and reduce latency
  • Increase speed without adding pressure or repeated verbal cues
  • Build a reflexive, enthusiastic recall

This class is ideal for dogs who are slow to respond, easily distracted, or technically “know” the recall but lack consistency or drive. It's also great for puppies and young dogs just learning or building their recalls. Handlers will leave with practical exercises and a new perspective on how tactile communication can transform their dog's understanding of this essential skill.

Ready to rethink your recall?  Join us for this fun and functional class.
