Course Details
Want to build strong, confident sends and precise directional cues for Treibball—or just up your distance skills and build confidence working away from you for dog sports in general?
In this workshop, we’ll break down the foundational behaviors needed to earn NATE's Skill Certifications. We'll look at the skills needed for the Send certifications and the Directional Cues skills certificates (Levels 1–3).
You’ll learn how to teach your dog to drive away from you confidently, take clear left and right cues, and navigate multiple targets with control and accuracy.
Perfect for both new and experienced teams looking to sharpen their long-distance communication. Whether you're prepping for skills certification or just want to feel more in-sync with your dog, this workshop will get you there!
This is part of a 2-workshops series, however both workshops work as standalone options to get you started in the sport! Material overlaps with course work from Melissa's 6-week long treibball class - Push It! Treibball Foundations and Problem Solving. Taking the workshops will give students a jump start in the class if they discover they enjoy playing the sport with their dogs.
