Confidence and connection go hand in hand. When your puppy feels safe with you, they explore, experiment, and trust — and every moment of courage deepens your bond in return.
In this presentation, you'll learn how to strengthen your puppy’s emotional resilience by focusing on relationship first. Discover how everyday interactions — play, touch, training, exploration, rest — shape your puppy’s confidence and optimism about the world.
By the end of this session, you’ll be able to:
* Use the Buddy System to create positive experiences throughout socialization
* Recognize the signs of optimism and fear in your puppy, so you can respond appropriately in any situation
* Intentionally choose games and routines that build bravery and connection
* Create a powerful feedback loop of connection → courage → connection, turning small wins into lifelong trust.
This presentation is ideal for anyone seeking a deep, meaningful connection with their puppy — and who wants to develop that bond in a way that helps their dog grow into a confident, resilient, and optimistic competitor and companion.
