B3000: Arousal Mobility - Pattern Games for Managing Arousal

    Course Details

3 WEEK CLASS - Does your dog struggle to settle, stay focused, or shift gears in exciting environments? This class is designed to help dogs learn arousal regulation utilizing the power of pattern games. This course focuses on teaching different pattern games ranging in high to low arousal. Then we will work to develop a training plan with those games to help your dog learn to manage their arousal.

This short class is perfect for dogs who are easily overstimulated, overexcited, distracted, jumpy, barky, or reactive—or any dog who benefits from more emotional regulation. Handlers will be taught a variety of pattern games, work with the instructor to develop a training plan, and develop strategies to support their dog’s arousal state.

A Teacher’s Assistant (TA) will be available to support Bronze and Silver students. Instructions will be provided in the classroom after registration.

    Teaching Approach:

The instructor will release written lectures on a weekly basis that include demo videos with explanations throughout.
