Meghan Ramos

Dr. Meghan T. Ramos, VMD, MSTR, DACVSMR, is a board-certified specialist in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (ACVSMR) and Medical Director of the Penn Vet Working Dog Center and Assistant Professor in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation at Penn Vet Ryan Hospital. She combines her clinical expertise with a deep commitment to evidence-based practice, research, and education. Meghan’s work focuses on optimizing canine athletic performance, preventing musculoskeletal injury, return to work/sport protocols, and promoting long-term physical wellness in sport and working dogs. She co-founder of the Canimetrics™ program an integrated, science-driven program to develop and assess canine movement, strength, and fitness across disciplines and collaborates on research to better quantify posture, mobility, and conditioning in canine athletes. Her clinical research and peer-reviewed publications have advanced return-to-work strategies, foundational fitness assessment, and preventive conditioning protocols used by handlers and professionals alike.

Meghan regularly lectures nationally and internationally, translating complex biomechanics and rehabilitation science into practical strategies that help dogs stay strong, mobile, and resilient throughout their sporting careers.
