What if your dog was self-motivated to overcome challenges?
What if they would teach themselves that scary things are actually safe?
Well, I'm here to tell you: They can! In fact, dogs do this all the time!
Optimism plays a big role in how your dog understands their environment, interacts with it, and what they learn. If this sounds interesting, ask yourself if your dog tends to...
... wait for things to happen, or make them happen?
... give up, or try again?
... hesitate, or just go?
... cling to bad memories, or good ones?
... worry about what might happen, or look forward to finding out?
Here's the most exciting thing about these questions: The answers can change! And you have more power than you may realize to influence your dog's outlook on life.
Drawing from research in positive psychology and animal cognition, as well as practical experience and video examples, this webinar will explore how, exactly, optimism is learned!
About the Instructor:

She is the co-creator of The Social Approach with Dr. Amy Cook.
