Sarah Rodriguez
| Sarah has been involved in the animal shelter and rescue community for 20 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from CalPoly Pomona and is a graduate of Dr. Roger Abrantes’ prestigious Ethology Institute where she earned her CPDT. She is also a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant and works both virtually and locally out of Los Angeles county helping clients find the best in their dog through her business, Home Schooled Hound. Sarah sees a wide range of cases but has a soft spot for timid dogs, puppies, and shelter dogs. She helps teach staff at a local Fear Free veterinary hospital how to reduce stress in their canine patients and is a Fear Free Certified Professional. She helps their clients that exhibit aggression to learn cooperative care so they can live happier and healthier lives. She shares her home with a sassy parrot named Gracie and a sweet shelter dog named Danny who are both her inspiration and teachers. |
