Martina has owned Border Collies for 17 years and has been working with dogs since she decided to give up her career in the equine industry in 2009.

She worked as dog walker and dog trainer in Milan, Italy, before moving to the UK in 2014 where she works as a dog trainer full time, teaching classes, workshops, camps and one to one.

She has specialised in Border Collie and herding breeds since the beginning of 2021, helping dogs and their owner to understand each other better and learn how to cope with the challenges of a herding dog in the urban busy environment.

Martina’s knowledge of herding breeds comes from both herding and sport training, where she learned how the collie brain works and she implements a lot of those methods in her training programmes, together with the use of Control Unleashed protocols and games. Nowadays she enjoys training her dogs in scent detection and herding when possible. Martina owns three Border Collies of her own and is a full member of the Association of Pet Dog trainers.
