Course Details
Arousal mobility is a skill that allows your dog to move from high arousal (excitement) to low arousal (calm). This is a huge benefit for dogs that tend to get overly excited when training or even in daily life. As with any skill, practice makes perfect, so taking the time to teach our dogs how to manage their excitement is an important aspect of our training.
In this workshop, Sara will discuss methods for managing your dogs arousal and then how to reduce that management. Any age and skillset is appropriate for this class. We will be using both toy and food reinforcers.
